Common Questions

Do you work with our builder?

Yes. We coordinate timing, access, and scheduling with your builder so the landscape install never holds up your move-in.

When should landscaping go in on a new build?

After the final grade is set and the exterior trades are finished, but before you move furniture in. Landscaping installed before the builder is done gets driven over. Call us once you have a closing date and we will work backward from it.

What does a complete new-home package include?

Typically final grading, sod, bed shaping, plants sized to the elevation, mulch, and an irrigation system. Trees and hardscape are common additions. Rafael walks the lot with your builder plans and prices it as one job rather than a stack of separate trades.

Will you meet our HOA requirements?

Yes. Most new North Texas developments set minimum tree counts, sod coverage, and bed standards before they will approve a final walk. Send us the HOA packet and we will design to it, because failing that inspection delays your closing.

Is builder-grade sod good enough?

It depends what the builder used and how the ground was prepared underneath it. Sod laid straight onto compacted construction clay struggles no matter the variety. We check what is under it before recommending you keep it or replace it.

Do you install irrigation on new construction?

Yes. Our irrigation licensing is current, and new construction is the cheapest time to put a system in because the ground is already open and nothing has to be cut back into an established lawn.

How long does a full new-home landscape take?

Most residential lots are a few days to a week depending on size, how much hardscape is involved, and whether irrigation goes in at the same time. Weather on clay moves schedules, and we tell you when it does rather than going quiet.

Can you do just the sod, or only full packages?

Either. Many clients start with sod and irrigation, then add trees, beds, and hardscape in phases that fit their budget.
